The Gubble Series of games started development in 1995. PC Gubble was released in 1997, followed by Gubble 2, Gubble Buggy Racer, and Gubble for the PS1.

In 2007 Actual Entertainment released Gubble HD Anniversary Edition, a remake of the original Gubble, with new scoring, higher resolution graphics, and three difficulty levels to make Gubble accessible to beginners and a tough challenge for experts.

In 2010 Gubble HD for iPad, and Gubble for iPhone and iPod touch were released in the Apple appstore. Those versions are no longer available for technical reasons.

In 2016 Actual Entertainment changed its name to Lanzinger Studio.

Gubble HD is now available on Steam.
